SUMMARY:Finds solicitations from multiple US Government sources, implements overall strategies with OEM/Vendors to support proposal submissions. Able to self-supervise after training and work long hours and or weekends when needed to support the US Government. Must be able to forecast future development by following US Defense Spending. Will be working with other Business Development Specialists to formulate strategies together as a team. This is not a remote position. Must be available to interview in person.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Identifies and generates new business; develops and delivers sales presentations.
- Develops customer relations including but not limited to sales leads, research, cold calling Regional Contracting Offices on US Military bases, FOBs, Camps and US Embassies worldwide, qualifying leads, developing leads, and customer service.
- Develops and implements a sales action plan with objectives and strategies to increase revenue and aggressively acquire new US Government Contracts
- Grows existing accounts to full potential and generates maximum revenue on a long-term basis.
- Develops, implements, and maintains procedures that enhance the efficiency of the business development team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or equivalent, but not required or two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
- Experience with FAR, DFAR, CPARs is a plus
- US Veteran status a plus but not required
- Must be willing to work long hours and or salaried position based on performance
- Will be trained to current standards/ OJT (On Job Training)
- Must be willing to travel in the United State and outside the United States when required.
